Time : From 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Saturday)

From 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (Sunday)

Venue : Ampang Superbowl, The Summit Shopping Centre, USJ,

Selangor

OBJECTIVE :

The main objective of organizing this annual sports event is to create a competitive and healthy sports activity involving all the staff working in all the entities and organization in Protasco Berhad.

This Tenpin Bowling Tournament shall help to foster and enhance the spirit of goodwill, fellowship, true sportsmanship, friendship, networking and create better social interaction among all staff in the Group.

RULES & REGULATIONS :

This Championship is closed Championship and only open to all working staff of all the Companies and subsidiaries within Protasco Berhad.

The rules and regulations of the Championship shall conform to the basic tournament rules of the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) & the Organizers.

Tournament Categories : Men and Women Team and Masters.

Each Team shall consist of 3 Bowlers. Bowlers are free to choose and pick team members from other Companies / Region / Area if they face problems in having to complete the 3 member Team.

Each Bowler in each Category shall bowl / play a total number of games as stipulated below:

6. Each bowler shall be allowed to play 2 events only. TRIO event is compulsory.

7. The winner for each event shall be determined by the highest total number of pinfalls.

8. The overall Team Champion (All Events) shall be decided based on the highest total pinfalls for all the events.

The Entrance Fee is RM45.00 per team (Cash)

Closing Date for submission of Entry Forms is 11^th March 2011 (Friday)

Participation is limited to 60 teams only on a first-come-first-serve basis.

12. After the end of the Team Event, Individual scores will be tabulated to determine the Top 16 in the Men Category and the Top 16 in the Women Category to battle it out in the Individual MASTERS EVENT, which is the Knock-out Stage to decide the Individual Men & Women Champion.

13. All 16 Bowlers in the Men and Women Category will be competing against each other in the Round of 16 (2 games), Quarter-Finals (2 games), Semi-Finals (2 games) and Final (2 games).

14. Any technical dispute during the Championship will be referred and decided by the Technical & Tournament Committee. All decisions made shall be final.

15. Teams are not allowed to make any changes to the names and arrangement of players after registration, during and while the tournament is going on.

16. All participants / bowlers are allowed to wear jeans during the tournament but shorts are strictly prohibited.

17. Briefing session will be held on the following date, time and venue. Lane draws shall be made by the Organizing Committee after the closing date.

18. A player/bowler who arrives late after his/her team has started bowling will be permitted to bowl, before the last bowler of the opponent team complete the 3^rd frame of the first game. Should he/she arrive after the 3^rd frame, then the bowler can only join and bowl in the 2^nd game. The first game score will be awarded a “Blind Score” of 80 pinfalls.

19. All bowlers / participants are advised to be punctual and to register at the Registration Counter ½ an hour (30 minutes) before the roll-off of each event.
